The water world episode seems to be the weakest one so far. However I can't complain. Still LMAO when someone tried to suck Fry through a straw. I take it that the people worried about a stupid Fry probably really hated the episode. Really Homer could have said all of Fry's lines and it would have fit. How well, everything else was cool.

I don't even see _Homer_ getting his lungs removed in a back alley!

Homer's arm journey's a long way to get to the pop machine, going past a fossilized arm (still clutching a can of pop) before getting to the one he wants.

INT. SNACK ROOM

Grabbing his prize, Homer attempts to pull the can out...until he's stuck.

	Oh, no!  He's done for!

		CARL
	Let's get out of here!

Lenny and Carl run screaming from the room.

CUT TO:

INT. STAFF LOUNGE

A team of maintenance guys have surrounded Homer with a series of tools.

		MAINTENANCE GUY #1
	Now sir, we're going to have to cut your arm off.

		HOMER
	It'll grow back, won't it?

MAINTENANCE GUY #1 looks at his co-workers who nod in agreement.

		MAINTENANCE GUY #1
	Uh...yeah!

The opening scene in the car wash was Great!!!

Give it a chance. Even in the 1st season, the Simpson's didn't seem that "Side splitting" funny compared to later seasons.

yeah, i watched that opener a few times. each time laughing at diff spots...
