This was the Christmas special that did not air as Fox deemed it too violent for the holidays. My understanding is that "Amazon Women" also was pulled, but aired after changes were made.
I see that the rest of the season is scheduled through to the finale. Does this mean the ep will never air??

Maybe it will be on the DVDs that they release later this year as a way to try and get people to buy them. Or maybe next season at Christmas time, which would make much more sense?

That's not what I would call the Foreseeable Future. All we know is it hasn't been shown. Fox isn't interested in showing it right now at 7pm and that DVD's and Cassettes are on the horizon. That's all we can see. As to what will happen or could possibly happen who knows.
