thing about bender

i thought the other day about a scene "my three suns" where bender makes a collect call to the ship. leela accepts the call and the name of the person calling is normally recorded bender says angrily "i'm not giving my name to a machine!"

but in "fear of a bot planet" they go to blurnsball and bender complains about how robots are exploited, ie the bottle gets broken and the robot cleans it up...

my point is bender is offended when he has to give his name to a machine, but complains when a machine cleans up his mess....

just a thought... =)

=v= This is just Bender's cantankerousness unit acting up. The real joke is, of course, that he himself is a machine. Pretty similar to smashing a beer bottle on the ground and complaining that a robot has to clean it up. <_Jym_>
