I'm sorry, but there is no way anything compares to today's episode. Every misogynystic bone in my body was rattling in laughter at the "plight" of the men. Hilarious!!!

"Stop it, you're killing me... no, really, I mean STOP IT, YOU'RE KILLING ME!"

I laughed so hard, there were meteor showers in my eyeballs, my ears were bouncing and my socks fell off.

If you're not laughing, you're watching the wrong show.

That line was just fantastic, I agree. I also really loved Zapp and Fry's reaction when they realized they would be Snoo-snoo'd to death, they way they couldn't decide between ecstatic grins and horrified grimaces... And I think someone else already mentioned the brief shot of Fry erratically piloting the Planet Express Ship while Bender ran around screaming. God, I love this show!

This episode was my favorite of the series. In addition to the scenes mentioned above, some of my favorites were:

* Kif crawling around the ceiling of the 'snoo-snoo' chamber like a gecko.

* Bender shaking his head and making 'yakkity-yak' hand gestures as he listens to the two guards tell each other how they look.

  • The grass skirt bit with Bender and Fry.
  • Zapp: "The spirit is willing, but the flesh is spongy and bruised."
  • Leela trying to beat up on the Amazons.
  • Zapp trying out his 'boobies' line on the Amazons.

* The miffed millipede leaving the coat check window. "25 cent surcharge for each sleeve over 9"

* Leela changing Zapp's orders (Half bottle of wine, and oysters on the quarter shell).

I don't think I've laughed that hard at a tv show in my life. Brilliant stuff!

Cheers, Will

Yeah, and they left the scene on just long enough for you to figure that out. I mean, there were these few seconds of silence with just the visuals happening, and I didn't know quite what was going on. Then, just at the moment when they cut, I finally got it: They grinned. They fretted. They grinned. They fretted. They grinned...

And I had to pause the picture to let the fit of hysteria pass.

Futurama also strikes me as pretty much pushing the envelope as far as casual kinkiness is concerned--more so than other shows. But then, I'm not watching that many other shows. I'm just wondering, would a program with elements like the above--I mean gang-snoo-snoo actually happening--have gotten past self-censorship of a TV Network ten years ago? Even one like FOX?

Really? I thought they let that go on at least twice as long as they should have. That's one of the only moments in the whole series where I would say they overdid the joke. I got it after the first or second time and the rest was just overkill and not funny. I pegged that as one of the best cuts to make in syndication.

Well, we have to download those from the internet over here, and the image quality isn't that good. I don't get a lot of the little jokes because the picture's just too fuzzy. (I had to rewind twice to see the "Kegelcizer" writing in "Crustacean in Love.")

That and my attention isn't what it used be during the Simpsons' hey- day. When you hit 30 the ol' crackerbarrel ain't what it used to be.

...Can someone explain that joke to me...? (Where the woman's sitting on the Kegelcizer and you can only see her upper body which isn't moving at all.)

Wow, what won't they think of next?

Not only do I now know what Kegel exercises are, but I also now know way too much about how women can pee standing up.

(It's not an obscene picture, but it's hilarious.)

I thought that was hilarious too.

I was watching it live, so didn't have that option.
