ANyone heard the rumour that there is gonnna be a new series?

Nope, this was an April Fool's joke as well, unless you heard different. Where'd you hear this? I really doubt it.

I want to agree, but I'm not sure I can :o( Too many cult tv shows outlive their best days. It's a nice change for something to end on a high note. Plus, even if the new episodes were just as funny, I think you have to consider the bigger picture. Futurama is a sci-fi romance as well as a sitcom, and I think "The Devil's Hands" finished it perfectly. From a sci-fi perspective, we now know about the Nibbler conspiracy, and why Fry was brought to the future in the first place. As far as I can see, the story's been told well from start to finish, and now it's over. Makes a nice change!

Very few TV shows have a proper, quality ending. The only ones that spring to mind are the Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy TV show - even if the story *was* continued in books and on radio - as well as maybe some anime shows. There was another great example, but I can't remember it! :o)

Interesting article. I hope truth is stranger than fiction. After about a year "hiatus", SGC2C came back with about 6 new eps recently. And SeaLab2021 continues to be one of the funniest things I've ever seen... Lazzo just might be able to do it.

The writer just says "it's likely" but to me that sounds like speculation based on other cartoons. Let's hope it's more than that. Thanx for the article.
