I wouldn't read too much into this. NONE of Fry's "flings" have been white. Liubot, Amy (who is also asian - hmm, Fry might have an asian fetish methinks). There was that beauracrat lady, but Fry didn't really like her back so that doesn't count. There's also Leela, who is "white" but certainly not "caucasian."

Overall, I found the Lucy Liu episode embarressing more than anything else.

Okay, that "Don't Date Robots" scare film was supposedly based on educational films instructing against gay and mixed race dating, back in the bad ol' days. Were such films really for real? Has anybody here ever seen one? Do any survive or were they pulled from circulation and conveniently lost to avoid embarrassment in these more politically correct times?

Im fairly certain there were no anti mixed couple or anti-gay ones but there were many Hygene films and other instructional films out there to teach baby boom kids because there were simply too many. And at times the parents wernt so hot at the kind of stuff the Technocracy expected of culture. Like brushing twice a day or the importance of showering after gym class.

I dunno, I wouldn't put it past any educational boards, and the film makers that pandered to them, in those Jim Crow states during the Jim Crow and McCarthy eras.
