Review of "Cyber House Rules"

Definately a really good episode. My conflict about decline is probably because of a lot of new writers, and I found myself actually laughing at an episode penned by one of the longer-lasting writers, Lewis Morton, who's penned "Amazon Women In The Mood", and "Mother's Day", two of some of the show's funniest episodes. I'll have to say the eye plot was a little dull though, probably because like "The Day The Earth Stoopid", they took a large piece of continuity, and didn't execute it as significantly as they could have. One of the real gems was Bender's sub-plot, which was a perfect mixture of showing Bender's literally inhumane lack of sincerity combined with showing his lighter side. I think it's probably been Bender's funniest moment in the show's entirety. The episode throughout maintained a good level of quality, and probably my only gripe was the 'unwrapping-the-med-kit' to reveal a beautiful women, then cut to Leela, which was already done on the Simpsons, funnier as well. The joke was completely blantant, even if it was a parody which I might suspect. In all, one of the better ones of the season: B+

An ep of 3rd Rock From The Sun had them practicing their reaction, for when they unwrap the high commander's new face.

More than a month and still still no sign. It'll be wrapped this season, but why are they dropping it before they could say goodbye? Oh right, this is NBC the network that likes to play musical timeslots with good shows (NewsRadio and 3rd Rock).

Same place all lame sitcoms[1] go. Syndication hell.

[1]That have managed to complete the requisite number of episodes to qualify, anyway.

That episode was re-run last week. (at least in Denver).

I think that the way they did the behind-bandage camera shot during the unwrapping was a parody of the Twilight Zone episode, but I don't remember exactly how the TZ episode went so I could be wrong.
