I can't seem to configure it to read newsgroups anyway. It's the newsreader which keeps me from ditching my WebTV altogether. I briefly posted to usenet when I had AOL, but their newsreader was horrible.

If you mean a newsreader with a GUI, then yes, I use a newsreader named Pan. *yawn* why do some people have such trouble accepting that OE is a user friendly news reader, and while it may not have the most features in the world, it does the job just fine.

And isn't it wonderful how OE lets foreign software execute on your machine just because you displayed an infected posting?
I use 2 different news readers
- Mozilla for message-based groups, like this one
- Xnews for any binaries groups
Screw Outhouse express. it has security holes so big you could sail an oil tanker thru them.
I use a few
