hey all,

quick question...remember episode 108 'A big piece of garbage'? well during the internet video about the , well , big piece of garbage the voiceover says 'the repulsive barge circled the oceans for 50 years but no country would accept it not even that really filthy one. You know the one I mean'

That line originally had a country name it but they were made to cut it....anyone care to guess, or does anyone indeed know , what country it was orginally meant to be? My guess are either Mexico due to the long running joke about it being dirty or France due to both the Simpsons and Futurama's constant making fun of aforementioned country :)

anyone else got any other ideas?

yeah thats what I thought :)

of course in france it would be germany they were making fun of (when they dub it they change all the french jokes to german ones) however not sure how they got round the pilot episode's in the future france speaks english joke hehe

although I have to say my favorite france joke is in the simpsons when Kent Brockman announces 'Paris is no more' and they turn off the tv for lack of caring :)
