In my opinion, the best episode of the season. Recently, there haven't been that many character-driven episodes, just ones for laughs. This reversed that. Even though it was a bit dramatic, it had some wonderful jokes as well. The Internet scene was downright ROFLing, and the cyclops looking for the missile with the telescope was a nice accomplishment of making a joke out of the destruction of an entire race. Grade: A

I'm not saying you didn't get this, but the joke was that having only one eye seriously degrades your depth perception. So when the cyclops was asked "how far away", he said something like "a million miles", and then of course the missile immediately strikes. They've used this joke (lack of depth perception) with Leela a time or two.

Also, when they did the bit about the mole people being jealous of the Cyclops' vision, I thought of the saying, "In the land of the blind, the one eyed man is king." Does anyone know where that's from?

I'm not really,

I know it's an old quote from some important figure in history, I just can't seem to remember which one.

I'd have to go upstairs to find my copy of the story and find what attribution Wells used when he used the quote at the beginning of the story where he demonstrated the opposite, as in his story the one-eyed man was _not_ king.

I know, the main reason why it was so hilarious. Kudos to the voice acting, even the way he said "trillion" made it all the more amusing.
