"I love stealing... I like taking things" Classic.

Wasn't it "... I like picking things"???

My personal best (because it's close to my heart :> ):

"Let's just pray I have the energy to get myself another beer" :)

as you can see in my sig :)

I forget the ep, but...

<Bender looking in on a couple through a window> "Hey, get a room!"

<reply> "We are in a room!"

<Bender> "Well, lose some weight!"

Qlways cracks me up. I live for the day I can use it in real life...

I love in the episode 'War is a H-Word' when Bender replies to Zapp:

Zapp: We know nothing about their language or what they look like. But we can assume this: they stand for everything we don't stand for. Plus they said you look like dorks.

Bender: They look like dorks!!

On or about Mon, 7 Jul 2003 22:18:07 +1000, Tetsuwan Atom made the sensational claim that:

I wonder if any officers used that line in the recent unpleasentness in Iraq.

Bender: Aren't you forgetting our 5% military discount?

Storeguy: Sorry, that's only for people in the military.

Bender: What! This is the worst kind of discrimination! The kind against me!

I can think of two quotes.

From the episode 30% Iron Chef;

Hobo: Welcome to bum Base Alpha, the largest hobo camp in the quadrant.

Bender: I've seen larger. Oh wait, I was thinking of Eugene, Oregon.

And the classic from Space Pilot 3000;

Bender: Bite my shinny metal ass!

I guess Matt Groening must have visited our town of Eugene when he grew up in Portland.

Andrew Venor writes:

I've heard lots of people claim that Springfield, Oregon, Eugene's neighboring city, was the inspiration for the Simpsons' hometown of Springfield (which I guess would make Eugene Shelbyville) but I seriously doubt that was Groening's intent.

I did have a friend who used to live in Eugene write me after "30% Iron Chef" aired asking me if things had really gone downhill here since he left if they were making jokes about it in _Futurama_.

Oh, and on topic for the thread, one of my favorite Bender lines:

Bender (asleep and muttering in a dream): "Kill all humans . . . Kill all humans . . . "

Fry: "Bender! Bender! Wake up!"

Bender (wakes up): "I was having the most wonderful dream. I think you were in it."

Actually, that whole bit was funny:

Bender: You really want a robot for a friend? Fry: Yeah ever since I was six. Bender: Well, ok but I don't want people thinking we're robosexuals, so if anyone asks you're my debugger.

My favorite Bender line isn't technically a line. It's in the episode where Fry and Bender commit mutiny and lock Leela in the laundry room. As Fry and Bender exit Bender says something like "One day, we'll all look back on this and laugh." Then he lets out the most evil, raspy, well I guess the only word for it is "Bender-like" laugh you've ever heard. Absolutely killer.

My favorite line is in "Bendless Love", right after we see bender being built:

Amy: "You remember your own birth?" Bender: "Sure, it was only four years ago." Fry: "You're only four years old?" Bender: "Precocious little scamp, ain't I?"(leans back while smoking a big cigar)

My favourite lines from Deep South: Bender: If I'm not going to catch a fish I might as well not catch a big fish. There. Like most of life's problems, this one can be solved with bending.

and (though not said by Bender):

Leela: Depth at forty five hundred feet, forty eight hundred, fifty hundred. Five thousand feet.

Professor Farnsworth: Dear Lord - that's over 150 atmospheres of pressure.

Fry: How many atmospheres can the ship withstand?

Professor Farnsworth: Well it's a space ship so I would say anywhere between zero and one.

Tom.

Hahaha!

A line that I've always enjoyed (not sure of the episode, but it might be one of the What If Machine episodes, or the one with the worms that invade Fry's body. In any case, Zoidberg either gets huge or tiny):

Farnsworth: What we need is a guinea pig.

[Scene change; guinea pig lying in the middle of the floor as Zoidberg passes]

Zoidberg: What? Two feedings in one week?

Another good Zoidberg line: "That stench! That heavenly stench!"

PGK

the guinea pig line comes from the anthology of intrest 1 (the what if episodes) series 2 episode 16 did you foreget the next line when a glass tube slides up to trap dr zoidberg he says the best line of all time. "friends help, a guinea pig tricked me"

That's not normal: normal is coming home to find your mother nailed to a cross screaming verses from the book of Mormon, your dad performing a dark ritual with your brother as the sacrifice, and your sister getting railed by a goat.

No, on second thoughts :

Zoidberg: They said i probably shouldn't be a surgeon Farnsworth: They poopooed my electric frankfurter Leela: They said I probably shouldn't fly with just one eye Bender: I am Bender please insert girder

A lot of poeple don't seem to like that episode. That one line in the song (with the build up it had) made that episode for me. I laughed for a long time after seeing/hearing that...

One of my favourite scenes, in reference to Bender:

"Number 10: Chump. Number 9: Chumpette. Number 8: Yours. Number 7: Up. Number 6: Pimp-mobile. Number 5: Bite. Number 4: My. Number 3: Shiny. Number 2: Daffodil. And Bender's number one most frequently uttered word - the word which if uttered will blow up this entire planet: Ass!"
