Please put on more ridiculous sports where men have territorial wars to take the carcass of a dead animal from one end of the field to another. We also enjoy it when this coincides with men hitting a ball with a stick followed by running around in a circle. Oh, and let's not forget the Japanese-style game shows where average American morons are tortured with promise of cash and prizes, and remember to set your morals high by putting a show featuring several promiscuous adults aboard a ship in a prime time slot in the age of AIDS, and make sure it's on in a family-oriented time slot on a family-oriented night. That way, you'll be sure to get plenty of letters praising your programming ability. Because, you see, we really don't enjoy watching quality animation. We love it when TV Guide can tell us one thing and your network shows us another. We aren't "hip" to the idea of a guy running around in blue tights on a Thursday night. Just assume, as always, that we are the mindless drooling sheep that you envision us to be, and keep putting on the same lackluster programming. Thank you so much FOX!

the sad thing is I dont know if anyone in programming will ever give a damn about Futurama. It seems like Fox goes for the least common denominator in their shows....

I think the only way to go is to move the shows to another night. If they want football on Sunday, let them have football on Sunday and other stuff on other nights. I would prefer there to be no football at all on fox, but that is not going to happen anytime soon.

At least they dont have fear factor or ripleys believe it or not... YET...

I think the REALLY sad thing is that the people in FOX' programming department would probably think they really did good if they read this.

hmmmm good point. I guess we are not to assume that they want good shows, do we.

Well, either way, I am reasonably happy because there is only one more week of sports on Fox until October!!! Yay!

To quote Monty Python (from "The Spanish Inquisition"):

Reg: You do a lot of this sort of thing, do you?

BBC Man: Quite a lot yes, quite a lot. I'm mainly in comedy. I'd like to be in Program Planning actually, but unfortunately I've got a degree.
