Some episodes missing from the DVD's?

Hey all,

Having just found this group this morning and spending a LOT of time at www.gotfuturama.com, I was quite surprised to discover the following:

"A Leela Of Her Own" - some baseball episode not on the DVD's? What's the story here? How many other episodes were not put on DVD? Even if they're not great, I'd still like to see them!

There are 4 box sets for 4 seasons on DVD, yet www.gotfuturama.com lists 5 seasons. What happened here?

Also, I've been watching all the episodes with commentary. Why is Katey Sagal NEVER mentioned and makes no appearance on any of the commentaries? Was it just a scheduling problem? I'm assuming it's some mundane explanation since she will return for the new season next year. YAY for the new season!

Oh man, and I call myself a fan?! I guess I'll have to change my designation to fan-abee! Season 3, volume 3 must be one of the few discs I haven't watched more than once.

Fox split up the production series stupidly to make a fifth season out of (roughly) the last episodes of production series 4. It annoys me a bit that a lot of Futurama fan sites still humour the Fox version of the series rather than Groening & Co's intended series.

Katey Segal is in quite a few commentaries, albeit not as many as the other cast members. I hadn't noticed she wasn't in any of the fourth series' commentaries, though.

Really? She must show up at the end of Season 3 then, because I've watched all of Season 1 and 2 so far (and half of Season 3) commentaries, and she hasn't made an appearance yet. My wife keeps asking me where she is!

I tend to feel that they had too many people doing commentary, and the same people too often. Towards the later episodes, some of them seemed to be tired of doing commentary and would vector off into other discussions. Those could be interesting, but I'd want to know more about what was going on in the episode right then.

Too many men with similar voices, too. David X. Cohen's voice is fairly different, and the guy who does Bender was often doing Bender during the commentaries, but other than that, they'd all kind of blend together so I had no idea who was who.

Still, the best commentaries overall of any DVD set I've watched yet, since there was one for every episode.

I think some of the commentaries are as good as the episodes, myself! Roswell That Ends Well was a fantastic commentary, for instance

Sure. On the whole, several people doing commentary tends to be more interesting than one.
