Don't overestimate Fox's 'morality'. If the writer's strike goes ahead as expected, Fox will probably air the episode at some point just to say that they have an All-New Episode in their advertising.

The episode has been created and completed. Fox will air it eventually; it's all just business to them.

I may be mistaken, but I think Fox has shown some of the Simpsons' Christmas episodes (the reruns, anyway) in non-Christmas dates. Certainly they wouldn't plan on showing TALE out of season, but it remains a strong possibility. The question is, will the strike last long enough to force the situation?

Fox says it's too violent? This from the network with shows like "COPS" , "When Animals Attack", and "World's Most Dangerous Car Chases"?????? Oh, but I guess that's a good kind of violence, where we learn valuable life-lessons..............
