Because from what I saw there's this little green fellow near Bart that looks a lot like Zapp's sidekick (whose name I've forgotten since it's been a while since I've seen any Futurama).

That's from "Homer The Great" it was just on my UHF syndication station last week. It's definitely the Stonecutter Martian.
The Great Gazoo like character (who's name I can't seem to track down in my Simpsons Complete Guides) Had a little helmet just like Gazoo.
