Family Guy no more?

I just heard that FOX has taken Family Guy off the schedule and hasn't set a date for it to return due to it's mediocre ratings. Is this the end of FG? Let's hope so!

I used to hate the Family Guy when I first saw it, I just thought it was incredibly stupid and unfunny. Then one day I was, shall we say, under the influence of an intoxicating substance when I watched it. I suddenly realized that it's a pretty ingenious show. It's just a bunch of five second clips that tell a joke and somehow they are all thrown together to make a (somewhat coherent) plot. There was this one part where a bunch of trees were talking and one had fallen down, all the other trees were laughing at him and he was freaking, almost crying, saying "it's not funny guys..." It's kind of hard to explain but it was fucking hilarious! Seriously. I haven't watched the show since then so it could have just been my altered state of mind, but I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Does Fox ever truly cancel shows? Along the same lines, is The PJs cancelled or just on some sort of hiatus?

So Murphy had his hissy fit, they replaced him, nobody could tell the difference, so he sucked it up and went back to work.

Still not a good start any way you look at it. Family Guy is like the minor leaguer called up to fill a roster spot, but he just can't perform at the Major League level, so he gets sent down to work on his mechanics.

Sometimes, this helps season a ballplayer and he ends up having a fine professional career. More often, he never makes it back to the big club, he just knocks around in the minors for a few years before he's cast off to go find real work.
