more kid friendly.
      Matt Groening thinks ever since he sold the rights to the Simpsons
that they ruined his vision and hes right the last 3 seasons of the Simpsons
have been REAL BAD. Futurama should be the Simpsons replacement the Simpsons
have been on 10 years and has been manipulated by Fox to the point to where
it is garbage.

In short do what you can to help get the show renewed.

Nothing is getting this show renewed, guy. It was cancelled LAST YEAR and the remaining episodes left to air have been finished for a long time. The cast and crew have long moved on. The show is a ratings loser on FOX and CN cant afford to spend the money to make new episodes. And e-mailing and (worse yet) spam mailing FOX isnt going to do a damn thing. Live with it.

Considering that, even after seeing the CN ratings, Fox replaced Futurama with Simpsons reruns (and, when the Simpsons reruns were moved when The Pitts was pulled after something like four episodes, with King Of The Hill reruns), I don't think Fox is regretting anything other than sinking money into The Pitts.

The PPG do not have the same following as the Simpsons.

The simpsons are huge, and it has proven over and over again, it can move merchendise.

Now, there is always a risk, however, when you look at thing historically, you can pick a lower risk move. Consider that NOT having a Simsons movie is also a risk. So they feel that the risk of NOT having a simsons movie is greater then the risk of beginning to move forward on a movie.
