It's so weird how simpsons fans that openly admit their favourite show is completely down the toilet fail to recognise futurama as far superior. S'probably where all of groening's attention is going, and it shows.

By the way, the last few series of the Simpsons have sucked rather badly. Shame on the few of you in alt.tv.simpsons that have not been watching the fantastically amazingly splendiforous Futurama! I hope you'll all make amends by purchasing at least one Futurama DVD box set :-)

Well, the problem here is I agree with you in that Simpsons post season 9 have been rather poor and that Futurama has been very good and never deserved to be cancelled.

Most of that reflects what the original poster suggested as well; however, these things are all my opinion and the opinions of other people. The person who made the original notion and then suggesting there's something wrong with people who don't agree with him is being ridiculous and deserves to have his shoes stolen.

What about the people at Fox who cancelled Futurama? They deserve to have all their footwear stolen, including their comfy slippers.

Personally I'm a pretty hardcore Simpsons fan. I love the first 8 seasons, and seasons 9, 13, and half of 12 are okay. But its true that, in its 14th season now, the show really is down the toilet, plus even with the step up in season 13 its been way past its prime since the 8th season ended, and it just needs to end already. That's actually part of why I've gotten so much into Futurama lately: I'm sick of watching "The Simpsons detereorate, and in fact, if it continues to do so, the last episode of Futurama Fox ever shows could be the last thing I ever watch on Fox for a long while.

To me, it looks like you're contradicting yourself here: * PROBABLY means "I think" or "It might not be true." There you said you DIDN'T know Groening has nothing to do with the shows. * "..Is going" is present tense. To say that all of Groening's attention WENT into Futurama would be correct.

So, to correct your little sentence: "'Twas where all of Groening's attention went"

I also went to the liberty of correcting your grammar whilst I was at it. Groening has a capital G.
