Non-specific spoiler... . . . . . . . . . . Tonight's episode caught me totally off-guard. It was really funny and all ("Noticeably F.A.T."), but damn, the story and the flashbacks set a new high for the writing staff.
The contrast was interesting when they followed up an amazing and emotional episode with a bit for Fox's new boot-camp reality series. When's the next time a new Futurama will air?

I'd highly recommend the show "Boot Camp" is blatantly ripping off. Even the episode where Mike got lifted away after Burn injuries had a very dramatic feel to it.

I dunno. Put a bunch of 30-somethings in a room and ask them what they remember about the 80's. Music, films, clothing trends. Viola, half the episode is written.
I did appreciate the Ed Kranepool and Jerry Grote references during the Mets game. I guess there's at least one 40-something in the mix somewhere.
