Know what's strange? Futurama doesn't have a main main charcter like The Simpsons(bart originaly now homer) Family Guy (Stewie), The P.J.s(The Super), and King of The Hill(Hank Hill) Is that odd?

In a television show? No, not really, many television shows have an ensemble cast where no one character holds center stage all the time.

I think that's looking at things a bit too narrowly, but then again, consider that we've only seen a few episodes of Futurama. Got to give things time to settle out, y'know?
I always thought that Fry was the main character. Even in The Simpsons, the focus wasn't always on Bart (or Homer).

Stewie is the main character for Family Guy? He's more of a Jar-Jar Binks comedy relief annoyance to me. I think the father is the main character here; afterall, he is the "family guy". I'd rather see Brian the dog get more play than the often annoying, though funny, one-liners spewing out of that football-headed kid.

yep. He is the one who gets the most laughs. And he is the most recoginazable character. He is sorta of like Bart.
Maybe The Father will get more air time in the future Like Homer has.

No, I think Stewie is just the comic relief, not the focus of the show, so to speak.
Most of the episodes, IIRC, have already been about the Father, with Stewie just used for laughs.
I thought Fry was the main character. Isn't that what the show is sort of supposed to be about, him getting sent to the future? And in addition to the opening episode, we see fry as the one who swallows the liquid emeror, Fry as the the on who wants to find the Apollo landing site. That's at least half of the episodes made so far.
yeah fry is the main character him getting a new house him becoming king etc. and I would say in family guy they don't over use stewie as much such as the boy scout episode or the one where the TV is lost, given there are always sub plots about stew but there are also some episodes where he is not the most important character
