Explanation for Goofs:
Salty ape goof: Ok, so i'm pretty sure I saw the salf fall off of the ape. So that's not a goof. Unless i'm wrong, in which case it is a goof. Or not.
Billionaire goof: Ok, so Leela was outraged that popplers were sentient life forms, so she pulled a Lisa and tore up the cheque. They didn't show this because well...it would have sucked as much as when Lisa did it.
Inflation goof: Ok so, maybe in future a hershey bar would cost twenty bucks or so. So the popples probably would have been around like 25 bucks a dozen or something but to us suckers in the 21st century we'd be like whaat? why are they charging so much for popplers! They would have to make it two jokes in one (IE Poplars are fast food like hotdogs and they also cost alot of money because it is the future) which just get's confusing. am I right? This is where a little something called suspension of disbelief comes in.
