how many episodes to season 1 and 2

hiya,

according to most of the fansites i've read up on, the first season consisted of 9 episodes, the second of 20 episodes, amounting to a total of 29 episodes. this is not really that important to me, but i just had a talk with someone who claims that season 1 actually consists of 13 episodes, of which the last 4 just "slipped" into the season 2 broadcast (which explains the listing on the fansites). since there is no information about this on these fansites, could someone tell me what's up with this?

There were 9 episodes aired in the first season in the US and I believe they added the additional 4 episodes to the first season in Germany making it 13 episodes for the first season. Thats the answer to the best of my knowledge.

The first 13 episodes were produced as season 1 (1ACVxx). The last 4 episodes were held back for season 2, so there aired just 9 episodes as season 1. And a few episodes of the 2nd season are held back until season 3. It's the same with the Simpsons in almost every season.
