GOOFS/FREEZE FRAME/WHATNOT If there was a web site for "Single Female Lawyer", why didn't anybody try to find real writers and actors that looked like the originals, rather than letting Fry and company do it?

Only the WNYW signal was strong enough to reach Omicron Psi.

Fry was wrong. The secret to TV is that everything is back to normal at the beginning of the next episode, not the end of the current one. Didn't ten years of "The Simpsons" teach him anything?

The simplest answer to this question is simply that Fry was put in charge of the operation since he was the only one that knew about "Single Female Lawer". Fry wrote it and used the crew because that's all that he thinks that it takes... he doesn't know how it should be done... I don't think that it's any more complicated than that....
