DYN: Zoidberg's 'escape' sound taken from 'The Three Stooges'

Well, with the help of the FreeDB I finally managed to make up a huge list of all my CDs I'm about to sell soon (about 300+). While browsing the songs I came across a TV tunes compilation that has the track 'The Three Stooges' in the section 'Early Morning Cartoons'.

I've never seen this here in Germany but when I listened to it I was quite surprised to hear the sound that Dr. Zoidberg does when he's fleeing from someone at the end of this tune! Like in the latest episode at 14:52

"Did you see me escaping? I was all like wuwuwuwu!"

I've made an mp3 of that tune so if you got a space where I could upload those 400 KB let me know cause from my university I do not have access to binary ng's.

Wow, if that wasnt the most ignorant comment an american has made in the past 5 minutes.

On planet Earth, we have several continents. Most of these continents are divided (somewhat unequally) into countries. Look outside the square you live in. There are all these other countries that exist outside US boarders that arnt called "canada" or "mexico".

Hell some of them dont watch/own TV. GOD FORBID. so how would they know about the three stooges?

Watch a Stooges short with the sound off. It loses a bit, but it's still funny. The physical humor needs no translation. So even countries that don't have the courtesy to speak English can enjoy them. I am certain that they were also translated into a number of now dead languages.

Since the Stooges were a LIVE act long before they were film/TV stars and performed all over the world (Internationally), one could conclude that they are international stars. After their stage success they became known for their SHORT FILMS, which were also shown all over the world. And finally, another reason one could think they are known world wide is the fact their shorts have been broadcast in every country that has the capability to do so for the past 60 YEARS! And it's not like their humor doesn't translate (eye poking works in many languages).

Also, since this is alt."TV".futurama, one could logically conclude that members of this group do own televisions and do, in fact, watch them (at least to see Futurama).

Thanks for the sanctimonious geography lesson, though. Who'd a thunk there would be all those other countries outside US "boarders."

Liar! I am "american" - from SOUTH america. Argentina. And while I remember seeing the three stooges, I had no freakin' clue about the sound Curly made - because the spanish dubbing down here NEVER included it. Quite like the Futurama dubbing is a big piece of cr** that translates "bite my shinny metal ass" to "look at my rear end". I'm pretty sure than every dubbed version of T3S (including the german one that Moon has most likely seen) don't include the sound, or include it done by some lame dubbing actor that makes it unrecognizable.

(Note: if this message sounds offensive, that's because I'm a first-grade dubbing hater.)

Leandro, The dubbing issue is something I hadn't taken into consideration. How one could dub over the trademark sounds of Curly is way beyond my cognitive reasoning.
