At some point, Michelle might come over to talk to Fry. After all, he's the only one she knows from the 20th century. If he mentions Finding the pizzeria and Seymour she might reply "Oh, that stupid dog waited for you for 12 years, what a loser". Then he will know that he should clone him after all.
For that matter, when he was asking if anyone missed him, why didn't she mention it?
It does leave the door open for a future episode that won't get done thanks to Fox.

I think Michelle is long past Fry. Why would she even find out or CARE about ANYTHING having to do with Fry? She's hanging out with Pauly Shore now.
