OK, so Nibbler is really an intelligent "ambassador to earth" from his home planet...yet he was found on another planet which had been about to implode.
So what's the story? Was he planted on that other planet for humans to find? What's going on?

Yea it make's sense. I mean he just turns up just a few week's (or a month or so) after Fry is thawed out in the year 3000, and can watch him inconspicuously under the guise of a friend's pet. Sounds like a pretty good cover to me.

Haven't seen the episode yet, but I've always thought Nibbler was intelligent, since he's able to distinguish between ordinary animals which he guzzles, and people, who he doesn't.
