Ya know I thought there was something wrong having a grown man cry after a cartoon after that Philp J Fry spaceman episode. After jurassic bark, I know there is!

My only solace is the fact that Fry kept Seymore's petrified remains, so there's still the possibility that at some point in the future he may change his mind and bring Seymore back. Seymore has waited a millennium, he'll wait a few more years if necessary.

Poor, poor Seymore.

Just had a thought -- since they're obviously teasing about some kind of Nibblonian time travel to 2000, and there was that shadow that looked like Fry (and they are aware of the fans, or were, when it was written) there is always the possibility of Fry retrieving his dog before it was flash-fossilized by a passing wizard. It would, of course, change history. Which Phillip "I'm My Own Grandpa" Fry has already done once.
