(If you don't know what Slashdotted means, it means that it has appeared in www.slashdot.org website, which is a geeky website I read. They get thousands of hits a day and if a website is mentioned on Slashdot it can bring down webservers - Known as the Slashdot Effect)
Their article had David's post linked as http://www.ubergeek.tv/futurama which in turn was taken from CGEF, credited as www.gotfuturama.com with a link. Now here is what happened even with this level 2 link: http://www.gotfuturama.com/img/slashdot.gif

I haven't checked out slashdot for a while, I guess I should get over them again. For whatever it's worth, you're right. If you watch TechTV, especially The Screen Savers, they refer to slashdot pretty frequently.
