David X/S Cohen

Is producer David X. Cohen related to David S. Cohen, or are they one and the same?

BTW, good to see Mili Smythe actually involved as a co-producer (she has been illustrating Simpsons books and merchandise for years). Way to go, Mili!

They are one and the same. Cohen recently joined the Writer's Guild, but since the WG already had a member named David S. Cohen, he was forced to choose a new moniker. Thus "David X. Cohen." The "X" doesn't stand for anything, but he put a period behind it so his name doesn't look like a mathematical equation.

I agree. Now if they could get Bill Morrison on the show...
