Does anyone know where I can find the Futurama DVD (Season 1) in Canada, specifically London, Ontario or Toronto? Also, is Season 2 here yet? What are the Canadian prices?
I just checked the websites for Rogers Video and Future Shop but neither of them seem to have it....

Futurama and Canada are two words that for some reason NEVER go together.. It ain't been on Global for a year or more now.

Are you sure? amazon.com already has the DVD on its site and it appears to be orderable. However, amazon.ca does not show Futurama. Aren't most titles released simultaneously in Canada and the US? If yes, why does the US have Futurama DVDs now but Canada doesn't?

Futurama isn't out yet in the US either.
However, there are sometimes release differences between the US and Canada. This is because while both are R1, they are still seperate countries, and sometimes video rights are in different companies' hands. Most of the time the Canadian distributor just imports the US DVD, but they sometimes make their own DVD with different features. Brotherhood of the Wolf got a 3-disc DVD release in Canada, while only being a 1-disc in the US. The Trainspotting Canadian DVD has deleted scenes and other extras not on the US DVD. These are just two examples of different releases for the same film in R1.

Region 1 DVD is not on sale yet, only region 2 is available. When it. Amazon would only be taking preorders until the DVD is released, March 31st.
When you comes out, you should be able to buy it at Futureshop, HMV, , Rogers video, Walmart, and the BestBuy at Wellington and Bradley where Futureshop use to be if its open buy then. Really, you will be able to get the DVD where ever find DVD's are sold.
