Delurking

Not that I've been lurking long...eh, I subscribed all of five minutes ago, but I tend to like to say 'hello' before saying anything else.

I'm John Thelin, 33-year old Swedish graphic designer, journalist and web consultant living in DC. I post to the Usenet as CountV for reasons to torturous to elaborate on.

I missed the premiere of Futurama, but have seen the other two, and have been mightily impressed, not least with the visuals which are obviously Groeningish, but not Simpsons-derivative.

The overall production values of Futurama are higher and subtler than the Simpsons without detracting from the humor.
