Anyone notice that the Planet Express Ship crashing in the credits is a constant joke about Leela's depth perception problems?

I have a depth perception problem myself. I do have two eyes, neither of them is blind, but I have a some sort of "eyeball misalignment" issue. Because of that, I can only see the image of one eye at a time. Focusing hard and trying to use both will only result in double images.

Because of the lack of stereo visual image, I too have similar depth perception problems.

The world looks and feels like a first-person-shooter. You might have noticed that evaluating distances is not the easiest thing in the world in those games. Evaluating distance to an arbitrary object consists of having an approximate idea of how big the object really is, and based on how big it _looks like_ and how does it relate to objects below/above/behind it.

That kind of evaluation works accurately enough for distances of, say, from an arm's reach and up. _If_ your view is _unobstructed_.

Obstructions in the field of view makes evaluating distances really difficult. This especially reflects to parking cars. The car itself obstructs your view enough to make evaluating distances harder. Those wide-angle mirrors aren't any nicer either, as they confuse even more.

Considering Leela as a starship captain, actually she would only have trouble in landing or docking, and that only without assisting avionics, that i'm sure a starship at the year 3000 has to have to pass the MOT. ;D

What was the one where she tried the 3D Glasses?

I think you mean Fear Of A Bot Planet (1ACV05) Fry makes a comment about the great 3D and she complains that hers isn't working.
