Hello I'm from Germany and i have 2 Questions: 1.: Are the 4 Episodes which are on air from 26th September from Season1 or 2. I read an interview with Matt and he said that the first season will contain 13 Episodes...
2.:There is a Bar calkled Akbar in Soace Pilot 3000 and on "There is something about Futurama" i read, that this is a reference to "Life in Hell" But in how far? I asked the creator of TSAF but he didn't knew it.

4 of them are, but they may not necessarily be the first four.
Akbar is a character in the comic. Unlike TSAF, "The Futurama Chronicles" explains this in its episode capsule: <http://futurama.simplenet.com/episodes/capsules.html>.

Jeff & Akbar are a gay couple. You can see them in the Simpsons-Episode "Mom and Pop Art" (IIRC). BTW, I recommend everyone to read these comics. They are very funny.

It should be mentioned that Akbar & Jeff are in Matt Groening's comic strip, "Life In Hell," not the Simpsons.(Unless I missed something.)

There are also MANY "Life In Hell" books available. If your friendly neighborhood independent newspaper doesn't carry the comic, you might want to look for "The Big Book of Hell" in bookstores, or your local library.
