It took me six hours, but I read ALL 1327 posts in a.t.s. I felt like I was wasting my time. Now that I'm here, I wish there were more postings. I guess I don't like the Simpsons anymore. . .

Sincerely, Robert J. Muldoon

There are a lot of people that read a.t.s. over here, I've read your posts over there (as well as here), did you feel that any of your posts out of the 1327 were any more memorable? Just think of it as quality over quaintly.

Yes. Let's all think of quality over quantity. And get rid of those annoying one-line posts.

Yes, make sure to have at least three sentences in a reply. Speaking of one line (or even one word) posts, what up with that annoying *Snuh* thread over at a.t.s., you'd think that some people didn't have a life or something.

No. The topics there are just SOOO OLD.

Good point.

<< Never eat at a place called Mom's, shoot pool against a guy named Fat's or play cards with someone that answers to Slim. >>

Did you just make that up? The quote "Dear Santa, this year I want an electric train that WORKS" was based on something that really happened to me. I got a Lionel set last year, though. No problems so far. BTW, you can all cheer again, because my signature quotes are gone.

It doesn't take very long to realize at a.t.s that you're going to see over and over posts like Where Is Springfield and When Is The Simpson Movie Coming Out. Go over to rec.arts.animation or alt.nerd.obsessive (to name but a few) to see all the complaints about the being inundated with old topics. No one is going to be able to change it, new people are always going to come in, and if people think having Usenet "dumbed down" with the entrance of newbie AOL'ers and webtv'ers just wait until they get a load of all the Sega Dreamcast type of set-ups where the Internet is made available to video game players. Futurama is still shiny and new, give it few years and come back here and watch newbies get flamed for asking if we'll see any Simpsons characters appearing, or when the Futurama movie is going to come out.

I read it somewhere a while ago, I forgot where. Though I couldn't care less about anyone's sig, what is that below (I thought you said you sig was gone?). _________________________________
