Ok. that's an assumption. I admit it. but the UK channel CNX just added FIVE Adult Swim (CN) shows into their programming lineup. So maybe they'll add Futurama as well.

Can't see BSkyB allowing that when they show the latest shows on Sky One....That would mean CNX showing them BEFORE Sky One did, since the UK gets them after the US....
So how far is Sky up to? Looks like mid-season 2?

It's not showing on Sky One at the moment, so I guess they've finished a season. They're probably one season behind the US..
Channel 4/S4C are also showing Futurama and they're showing season 3...
Sky One has shown the same amount of episodes as Fox in the US has. Usually, Sky One are a few months behind the US, sometimes getting as recent as one week behind. Thing is, Sky One starts off about a couple of months behind Fox, but due to Fox's insane treatment of its viewers in relation to showing sport on an entertainment channel, which causes endless pre-emptions, they usually end up much closer by the end of the season. So, Sky One have shown all the episodes that Fox have shown.
Anyway, to get back to the issue of this thread, "season five" of Futurama won't be shown on Cartoon Network, not until Fox has sucked it dry first.

No, Sky One don't pre-empt Futurama for football, they have Sky Sports for sport. They just get the episodes after the US , like most American shows (Friends etc)

Since no one is seeing any new episodes, and you are a few months behind, you must be getting pre-empted for the games we were pre-empted for a few months ago.
In short, Fox pre-empts Futurama and they suck.
In a related note, we didn't get new Red Dwarf episodes for over a year after they aired in England. You could buy bootleg tapes at SciFi conventions well before they were aired or legit copies were available.
