"Bendless Love" blew chunks

In other words, I found this episode to be pretty boring. Slow paced and not very funny. And since when does Bender have genuine feelings of love without some chip being implanted? Yawn. And when it was over, I thought, "what, that was it? but nothing interesting happened yet..."

Actually, Bender has been in love twice before, that I can remember. Only last week with "Amazon Women in the Mood," though some might say that was just to get gold. In "A Flight to Remember" however, he was undecidedly in love with that countess.

Maybe you'll like "The Day the Earth Stood Stupid" next week.

I couldn't agree more. I thought the plot/dialogue was watered down and drawn out. I hope they don't start picking out one character each week and totally centering the shows plot around them. The dialouge in last weeks show seem "padded". I sense a kinda formulatic(?) approach to the shows now. "Insert here, reference that. Refer to the guide" That's what ruined the Simpsons long ago.

I liked it. Not the best ever, but not bad. I think we're seeing great characterization this season (Fry in "Parasites Lost," Bender here...) Furthermore, I think that this episode shows that "Futurama" has become a full-fledged show with supporting characters, since a lot of "people" from previous eps showed up.
