In Episode 3 of Season 2, "When Aliens Attack," it was revealed that the Leaning Tower of Pisa was in "Monument Beach" in New New York. It was supposedly stolen by New New York's supervillian mayor in the 2600's
When the aliens came, the Tower wasn't blown up like everything else but it just fell over.
The Tower was apparently back in Italy in tonight's episode. Perhaps once monument beach was destroyed the Italians took back the fallen tower and fixed it up.

I think no two writer's have the exact same concept of Futurama's universe in their head.
I think it's a cartoon, and it doesn't matter if things don't stay 100% the same between episodes.

It was a mayor I think, But maybe he just lied and had replicas made on monument beach. Because he was mad. And people to lazy to go to the actual monument's just accepted that they were real. They were there a long time.(400 years)
It happens. Henry Ford took the Wright Brothers' original bike shop from Dayton, Ohio, up to Dearborn, Michigan. Dayton built a replica of the bike shop, but they put it in a historical park in a nicer section of town.
