Didn't Katey Sagal use to be a back-up singer for people like Bette Midler? If so, how come her singing in the season closer was so poor? Was this deliberate, so as not to clash with the others, or has she lost her chops after a long period of inaction, or what?
The musical number as a whole was rather lame too, except for the Beastie Boys showing up. The phrasing and lyrics clashed so much that it was hard to make out the actual words.
