This one's kind of a longshot, but it just occured to me tonight.
When Barney and Homer tour the Duff Brewery and Barney compliments the quality control guy on his work, many bottles of Duff pass by, including one with the head of Hitler inside. That just reminds me of all the heads in jars from Futurama. Even though I'm sure Hitler's head wasn't ALIVE and floating in Duff Beer, it looks similar.

If I recall most of the stories he referred to in the song were really tabloid headlines. Science fiction has a long tradition of brains / heads inside jars. From Frankenstein to The Brain That Wouldn't Die and The Man With Two Brains.
I've never seen an alien's head in jar in Futurama. Since Zoidberg's race has been on Earth for nearly 800 years, you'd think there would be some lobster heads in jars.
Do they send them back to their home world? Are their brains not located in the head? Are they just in another museum we haven't seen yet? And how about all the other alien races?

Good point! I never really thought of anyone but human heads in jars. I'd kind of like to see the head of one from Morbo's race in a jar, or an Omicronian head. Those would be some damn big jars.
