Hi everyone!

Pardon my ignorance, but does anyone know the meaning of the Futurama episode codes? i.e. 2ACV16...where do they originate anyways? Thanks.

The codes are given by Fox-TV. The format is as follows:

xACVyy.

x stands for the production, ACV is a code given by Fox-TV, yy stands for the episode of the production.

The number of the production does not correspond to the season in which the episode was shown. Season one went from 1ACV01 to 1ACV09, season two from 1ACV10 to 2ACV13. Some epsiodes were aired not in the order of yy (because of special events like valentine's day etc.).
