Did anybody else think Bender's little arms that he had around his neck were the funniest little things you've ever seen? Everytime I saw them move I just about busted a gut.

But how did they interface with the Bender and the Beck? ;)
DGH
i thought they were amusing too beck said they work on though waves i guess the device can understand human and robot waves robot ones must be easier to read
i missed how he fixed himself though did he just get bumped and was fixed like a bum tv
How did Bender get shredded? I missed that part due to an interruption by a tornado and thunderstorm warning.

PS: Ah, springtime in Iowa....
It was his arch nemesis, the dreaded can opener!

Well remember all Sentient Animals, Robots, and some Plants emit specific brain waves that the Brain Spawn feed off of. So the little arms may work coincidentally on those waves.
He just kinda stood up and started moving. Perhaps the Doctor/mechanic was overly hasty with his prognosis and Bender's self repair systems (If their are any) were capable of slowly repairing his hydraulic system.

That's not a coincidence, it's a hypothesis. Good one too.
I think a better plot would have had Bender trying to earn/swindle enough money to replace a mangled beyond repair body(he's a robot...you can fix those), and then just happening to find a perfect replacement in the dumpster. He's already lost his body for crying out loud. A Head in the Polls shows that he can live without it, and that someone else can use it. Thus, interchangeability. This wouldn't have changed the story at all either. Bender could still play his old useless body as a washboard, gone on tour with Beck, etc etc. I suppose the last concert scene would have been a tad different, but not impossible. Just have the replacement body waltz onstage.

No I mean Coincidentally because perhaps humanity doesn't know what the Nibblonians know yet and it just simply happened to work with out it being designed to work.
Yea but Eric Horsted is hit or miss with his plots sometimes. Just be glad it made sense when it ended.
