useless character

who do you think was the most useless character in all of futurama? they made him then POW hit a brick wall in the writing and just plain sucked? i'll say scruffy and q-bert. like Matt and David said in the audio commentary if they needed murder victims they were good. but who else was useless? i'm not looking for little characters that were was in 1 scene i'm looking for a main character. LETS GO PEOPLE!! LETS GET THOSE JUICES FLOWING!! WE NEED SOME CHATTER ON THIS GROUP

I'm new to the list and would love to participate in some chatter. I love Futurama and watch it every night on C/N before falling asleep. Eventually I will purchase the DVD set.

Unfortunately I was a late comer to the series and didn't fall in love with it until after it was canceled. I did the same with Family Guy, but now that is back.

Bad word of mouth always seemed to follow Futurama. I live in the midwest USA and still hear to this day that Futurama was just a new format to rehash all the old Simpsons jokes. I haven't found that to be so, but every time I bring it up that is ALWAYS the response I get.
