For being annoying, that cubert guy was pretty funny. Couldn't last another episode though. Having a personality change and everything.

I wish I had the episode beside me to watch again so I could comment on it and where I thought it was heading... Guess I'll wait for the Illegal DVD with all the sets on em...

BTW, many new DVD's allow MPEG, so it shouldn't be hard to burn all the episodes downloaded off the internet onto a DVD.

What was that one robot's quote when it crashed into a building,"man I just suck at these things." or something? Reminded me of a mystery science theatre quote.

I loved the time machine. I wasted 15 years of my life on that. Dr Z: Too bad it didn't work, you could have went back 15 years and told yourself not to build it :P

Personally I came up with an idea for a time machine. If you can convince one person that daylight savings time doesn't occur, you can in essense be living in a time 1 hour before them.... this may seem inconsequential at first, but if you do this with enough people, you can travel back in time. I call it the daylight savings time machine.

In other news, anyone notice deathclock.com revamped its site to advertise alot? I liked the old plain version... Who came up with this first, futurama or some unique website, I'm uncultured.

I just think this is a super cool episode just like the others. I just wish I could live in the year 3000. By then there will be so many episodes of futurama that I could sit around and watch them for a year non stop. Then burn another 2 or 3 years watchin reruns and random crap that is cool to watch and has been made in th interim.

It took me awhile into the show to draw a connection with this one. With all the Star Wars references perhaps one of the writers was miffed about SW Ep. 1 only being released on video and not on dvd. Perhaps not, it's probably just my warped view of they world as one who will have to wait 6 or 7 years for it to come out.
