DYN for "Leela's Homeworld": in the last scenes, when Leela's parents leave a birthday present for her, the card says "HAPPY BIRTHDAY LEELA", but they know that's her last name, so why didn't it say "HAPPY BIRTHDAY TARANGA"?

Seriously, I notice that *everybody* calls her "Leela." They may have just decided to address the note the same way, since that is presumably what she'd be most comfortable with.

It looks like her parents were following her life very closely. They probably noticed that everyone calld her Leela and stuck with it.

Yeah. If she got something addresed to "Turanga", then she would have thought something was weird. (I mean even weirder than finding a present to her on the street. But note that at one point her parents call out "Turanga Leela!" not just "Turanga".... My parents tend to their children by both my first and last names quite in that way -- I suspect "Turanga Leela" is her full "first" (or personal) name.
