Supporting Characters

I've always thought that a good deal of Futurama's strength is in the quality of it's supporting characters but which is your favourite?

Season Two is really Zoidberg's "coming of age", though...gotta love it...

Long time Zoidberg fan here as well. But I would have loved to see more done with Scruffy as well. Futurama (the comic book) #10 told a story that spotlit (spotlighted?) Scruffy through a sport called Swurling that took his janitorial skills in a wild direction. And #14 gave a sort-of mini-story to Scruffy that was particularly clever in context.

Support Futurama Comics - it's the main source of new Futurama stories these days.

Lately I've been fascinated by that overweight working class guy who keeps showing up. You know, the guy whose first appearance was on the Moon receiving the first delivery in "The Series Has Landed" and turns up in many different roles. He's at the space truck stop at the beginning of "Parasites Lost" but then turns up at a construction site in New New York later in the same episode, at which point Fry confronts him again for his insulting remarks to Leela from the space truck stop. Is he just a guy who can't stay in one place very long, or is he really a series of clones? If the latter, that makes Fry challenging him on Earth for the actions of a different clone at the truck stop even funnier. (But not totally inappropriate: even if he wasn't the same individual who made the earlier remarks, he was exactly the same type who would have...)
