I've seen this ep a million times but never noticed this before: When they crash on the planet and the girls approach, Leela looks into the puddle the ripples create a quick image of her with two eyes.

Hmmm -- that jpg looks way too clean to be a capture. I suspect it's a drawing inspired by the actual frame.

Although I agree that FOX was stupid for not renewing Futurama, to change Leela from being a Cyclops to being 'normal' would kill part of her popularity - a tough as nails person with her own hangups because of a physical imperfection.

2 eyed Leela just isn't the Leela that we all love and enjoy, psycological baggage and all.....

Yeah, there was. And I'm pretty sure on the DVD commentaries for that episode, they alluded to the Amazon Women in the Mood thing as foreshadowing.
