Soeme Story concepts for Futurama.. feel free to add to this list..

Hi Tucson Coyote here..(yes I know... I'm the one who is making comparisons between Amy Wong and Leela.. go figure..)

Anyway, if there were writers or folks out there who wanted to see stories written for Futurama, I was wondering what kind of off the wall quirkiness would there be for season 2...(actually from episode 10 on..)

Here are a couple of ideas..

Send in the Clones...(Think of this episode as Multiplicity with Fry... THe Progessor is experimenting with a ray taht can make duplicates of objects.. unfortunately Fry get's zapped and there are copies of him running around.. Getting in all sorts of trouble..(heck have one of Fry's clones make a pass at Leela, and The real Fry get's slapped for the result!)

Innards space...(Think of this one as a cross between Fantsitic Voyage and Inner Space.. Leela gets ill and so Fry and Bender (with the help of the rest of the gang, have to figure out what the heck is going on inside Leela.. Think of hormonal imblaance, Poh Fahr, and Human PMS.. !)

Two Wongs don't make it Right...(okay this one is a silly idea but at least hear me out..) Amy has a twin who is a bit more agressive {Think along the lines of "Basic Instinct" agressive!} (after all there is very little known about Amy except that she is Martian, (and since we don't know a lot about her family background, we could do some major tinkering here..)

Leela I shrunk the squids.... Another off the wall idea... Fry accidentally gets ahold of a raygun that shrinks items.. unfortunately he nails that alien professor (The one that is probably aquatic {refering to the ep where he falls in love with a lobster!) and he end up most of the ep in a fishbowl...

Past Imperfect... Fry drops something into a grating taht leads to the Old New York and He and Bender have to go retrieve it..(something as silly as a rabbit's foot or something..!) anyway while down in the "dumps" Fry and Bender stumble across something that Fry never imagines would have survived.. His former girlfriend's diary.. (and yes there are descriptions of what goes on from the day she dumps Fry to the day she dies {probably in the alien invasion or not..} a real blast from the past..

these are just a few of the corny ideas I have come up with.. anyone wanna jump in here and add to the list???

"Men in Lime-Green"  (2ACV01)
   A package must be delivered to the planet Mugrathia, a world where
   humans are allowed by the local government to disguise themselves
   as natives and assume jobs and identities, unbeknownst to the public.

"Three Outs in Every Inning, Two Eyes on Every Player"  (1ACV02)
   Leela tries to fake her way into a blernsball league that discriminates
   against one-eyed beings, by disguising herself as a normal, two-eyed
   human.

"Nobody Better Lay a Finger on my Bender"  (2ACV03)
   Professor Farnsworth's latest invention, the Robot Alarm, becomes
   the new market craze among the nation's 'bot owners.  He is so
   enthused with the public recognition that he decides to put the Planet
   Express business on hold and hype his Robot Alarm coast to coast.
   Bender, having been a test-dummy of sorts for the prototype, is
   chosen to be his product mascot, and accompanies the professor as
   they tour the country.  Meanwhile, the other Planet Express
   employees must search for new jobs.

"When Speilberg Ruled the Earth"  (2ACV04)
   The crew visit Dione, the theme-park owned moon of Saturn, at which
   dinosaurs have supposedly been genetically engineered and habitated.

"Somewhere Over the Rainbow Room"  (2ACV05)
   When a pressure failure traps Fry and Amy far above the city in a
   branch of the NNYC tube system, they use the time to get to know
   each other better, and Fry tells the story of his life with Michelle back
   in 1999.

"The People Vs. Phillip Fry"  (2ACV06)
   When Fry successfully battles the courts and is set free after being
   wrongly accused of murder, he embarks on a greater mission to
   appeal the nation's Proposition 506,892, which was established during
   a time ripe with overpopulation concerns, and makes pre-marital sex
   illegal.  Fry, of course, doesn't realize that the law was never taken
   seriously from the upstart.

"Blue Acres"  (2ACV07)
   When a piece of Bender gets flushed down the toilet, he inadvertently
   discovers the lost city of Atlantis and the crew go on an undersea
   adventure to revoke his claim.

"When the Fry-pods Came"  (2ACV08)
   Professor Farnsworth and Fry are invited to a family reunion, where
   Fry gets acquainted with a number of his other descendents.
   Meanwhile, Bender attends his high school reunion.

"Little Pot of Horrors"  (2ACV09)
   Nibbler develops a sickness that causes him to vomit his food rather
   than excrete Dark Matter.  Bender and Fry buy a new potted plant for
   their apartment, but find that the plant speaks ... and feeds on blood.

"The Abominable Showman"  (2ACV10)
   The crew must visit the ice planet of Dratun 5 to prevent civil war
   among the Democratic Order Of Planets.

"Now Who's Winking?"  (2ACV11)
   Leela tries to seek out her family tree while making a delivery to a
   planet inhabited solely by one-eyed creatures.

"Objects in Windshield are Closer Than They Appear" (2ACV12) Fry tries to apply for a 30th-century drivers' license.

"Disease for Zoidberg"  (2ACV13)
   A mysterious virus breaks out across the country, and Fry (who was
   sent on a mission to small town in Florida to return an undeliverable
   package) finds himself quarantined away from his friends.

"Mini-She"  (2ACV14)
   Professor Farnsworth invents a matter-duplicator, and Amy volunteers
   to be the first test-subject.

"Hard Drive With a Vengeance"  (2ACV15)
   Bender is charged with sexually harassing a young robot, despite his
   claims that he was only helping to back up her hard drive.

"The Girl Next Door"  (2ACV16)
   A new service, Mom's Friendly Intergalactic Delivery Barn, threatens
   to put Planet Express out of business.

"Mostly Armless"  (2ACV17)
   Leela breaks her arm and Fry becomes the ship's temporary captain.
   He accidentally loses Leela in hyperspace.

"Hunting for Late September"  (2ACV18)
   The frst half of a summer cliffhanger.  While making a delivery to the
   primitive humanoids of a lush yet undeveloped world, the ship and its
   communication mechanisms breaks down, and the crew find
   themselves stranded.  Bender is hired as a chef for a nearby tribe.

in the pilot, when Leela scanned Fry's DNA and found out Professor Farnsworth was Fry's great, great, [etc] nephew? Wouldnt any other relatives have shown up then?

You need to add a sexy, young delivery girl to "capture" Fry's attention, and help lead Planet Express to it's doom.

Nah, I want to see Leela and Fry working at the 31st-century equivalent of Krusty-Burger. Farnsworth probably wouldn't take an intergalactic spaceship on a cross-country tour, anyway.

Yeah, that's true--maybe it could be somethingorother with Leela.

I was going to incorporate a similar plotline into my story--except it was Interplanetary Parcel Service, and the crew had an uncanny resemblance to the crew of Planet Express--except much more ordinary.

Actually, it was:

"Was that an... invitation?" "Love your optimisim, Fry."

Obviously, Fry either still has the hots for Leela or needs to get a carpet shampooer.
