Why don't they age?

The show has been on for 3 weeks now and the character haven't ages at all? What's up with that? Is Fry going to be a late-teenager forever?!?!

Fry was 25 in 1999. He is technically 1025 in 3000. And yes, he will probably remain 1025 for the rest of the show.

Thank you! I'd been wondering how old Fry is (subjectively). I figured at least 21 or 2 since he drinks alcohol, and took a puff on Bender's cigar.

Out of curiosity, where did you come by that datum? And do you have ages for the rest of the cast?

Actually, Fry is twenty-something. Not a teenager. How much do you want them to age in three episodes?

If you want an example of _backwards_ cartoon aging, just look at Garfield. He's 20 years old but he looks years younger than when he was first 'born.' :-)
