There was a song on the muppets sung entitled "I am my own Grandpa"

also there is a terribly bad movie called "the stupids" where tom arnold sings a song explaining how he is his own grandfather

that came from where the professor says "OOOH, A lesson in not changing history from mr i'm my own grandpa!"

also after that the scene of the missle hitting the base and the soldiers clambering to the jeep reminds me from the pearl harbour movie w/ ben affleck
