Dr. Zoidberg's voice

How does Billy West do Zoidberg's voice - I keep trying to make the warbling noise (Chewbacca-style, by making the front bit of the tongue vibrate with air produced in the back of the throat), but I can't say anything that's clear and intelligible like he can. It's really annoying me, because Zoidberg is my favourite character after Leela and Bender ... oh and Zap ... and Zap's sidekick - btw what's his name?

Zapp Brannigan's sidekick (actually his first officer, I think) is named Kif Kroker.

Regarding Zoidberg: I'd tell you the explanation is that Billy West is a vocal genious. Who else would have been crazy enough to take over the role of Ren Hoek after John K left Ren and Stimpy. True, he butcherd the voice but hey, he gave it his best shot right? I've always said that if Stimpy's voice matured just alittle he'd sound just like Fry

He went on the Tonight show and claimed to have originated the Ren voice and was one of the few that didn't leave after Bob Camp and Games took it over (for a extremely brief run).

I can do some voice impersonations pretty well, and Dr. Zoidberg is one of the most difficult. I put my tongue close to where my teeth meet the roof of my mouth, and talk out of the right corner of my mouth using a voice similar to Tibia's (from "Fiddler on the Roof").
